Willeke Goossens started in 2005 in Maastricht with the study Health Sciences. There she had the opportunity to complete her Master with a traineeship at Unilever in India. Here she conducted laboratory research to explore the digestibility of various Indian cereals and possible effects on blood sugar. After several years of working for the R&D operations of Unilever in Vlaardingen where she was involved in reporting the nutrition targets in the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan, she decided to move to Rotterdam. At the moment she is responsible for nutritional information about brands such as Blue Band, Calve and Lipton and forms the link between science and marketing.
